PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS For portrait commissions, I work from photos. If the subject is local, I like to take the photos myself to achieve the best possible lighting situation. But, if you are taking photos or choosing photos , try to find several that show the best likeness and personality. Natural lighting is best. Light coming in from a window is very dramatic and can create a nice atmosphere ( see "The Reader" below) The prices at left are based on one subject. Additional subjects in the same painting will add additional cost. GIFT CERTIFICATES are available |

LANDSCAPE/SCENE Do you have a beautiful view you'd like me to capture in painting.....or maybe a special place or memory? Whether it's a family cottage on the lake, a
view from you porch or a favorite travel spot, it can make a meaningful gift and a future heirloom. The painting at top right I gave to friends who were gracious enough to let us stay at their lovely lake home. It is a view from their dock at sunrise. The painting on the lower right was a gift to a young woman who celebrated her 25th birthday by climbing 14,000 ft. Mount Bierstadt in Colorado.
